An oxygen concentrator supplies an unlimited amount of oxygen to patients who cannot get enough oxygen into their bodies.

Unlike an oxygen tank which as pressurized oxygen which gets exhausted after a few days, an oxygen concentrator generates oxygen indefinitely, so you’ll never run out of oxygen when you most need it.

Oxygen concentrators are life savers for patients who can’t get enough oxygen into their bodies – such as patients with

  • Covid-19
  • Asthma
  • COPD
  • Lung cancer

All the oxygen concentrators we have in stock produce 93-95% medical grade pure oxygen.

Depending on your budget, you can choose from one of 2 types:

Portable Oxygen Concentrators

Portable Oxygen Concentrator - LightweightAs the name suggests, you can carry these around with you like you carry a purse, supplying oxygen whether you’re at home, at work, running your errands, etc.

They are usually powered by rechargeable lithium ion batteries. Portable oxygen concentrators are more pricey than stationary concentrators.

Oxygo Portable Concentrator is our most popular portable concentrator.

Frequent Questions About Oxygen Concentrators

What if a patient needs more than 5 liters of oxygen per minute?

We also have 10-liter oxygen concentrators (Jay-10). These produce up to 10 liters a minute. Most at home patients rarely need more than 5 liters of oxygen per minute.

The Jay-10 are more applicable for patients in a hospital setting.

Can an oxygen concentrator be used by more than one person at a time?

The Jay-5 can only be used by one person at a time because it has only one chamber that connects to the patient i.e. single flow).

We also stock dual chamber stationary oxygen concentrators, which can serve 2 patients at a time. These come either as 5- or 10-liter options (i.e., producing 5 or 10 liters of oxygen per minute).

As you can expect, dual chamber oxygen concentrators are more popular in clinic and hospital settings where patients can share one oxygen concentrator.
